Maryn is originally from Floresville, Texas and currently studies Marketing at Texas A&M University-San Antonio. She holds multiple academic achievements including Honor Graduate 2024, and President's List for her first two semesters at TAMUSA. 

Maryn held a role as team manager for the Men's and Women's basketball teams at TAMUSA during their inaugural season of 2024-2025 and plans to continue her involvement in upcoming seasons. Maryn has loved sports, specifically basketball, for the majority of her life. She played basketball starting at 6 years old up until her junior year of high school. Even though she no longer participates in sports, she finds several ways to surround herself with them by assisting her university's basketball teams, cheering on her younger sister at her volleyball tournaments, and interning with The Basketball Embassy. 

Maryn joined The Basketball Embassy as an intern in 2025 with a role primarily focused on social media operations and content creation along with assistance on day-to-day operations.
